Elizabeth Weinberg: a Brooklyn youth of indeterminate age who happens to lug a camera around. In my opinion she’s got a ways to go before she hits her potential, but that leaves us with the sort of uncut talent where most photos are fine, “normal” even, yet every now and then she pulls out something I love and have trouble forgetting. When posting photographers I always include a couple of favorites, and I prefer it when they feel representative of the greater body of work. Instead, here we’ve terrific shots in the midst of a lot of fairly standard and/or unpolished output. But there’s quite enough of it to post. Like this. Another. Another. Another.
Many of photos are music-related, and she gets quite a bit of work from industry mags, Rolling Stone and Nylon on down.
haha. not sure whether to be flattered or offended.
i’m 27 years old and i think the camera lugs me around more than my “so-happening” to carry it.
